This ELISA kit uses Competition-ELISA as the method to detect the Testosterone (T) in human serum. The ELISA Microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat anti-rabbit antibody. Add samples, HRP labeled T (HRP Conjugate) and anti-T antibody. If T exist in sample will competition with HRP Conjugate, to form a goat anti-rabbit antibody, anti-T antibody and HRP Conjugate complex. Free components are washed away. The substrate reagent is added to initiate the color developing reaction. The presence of T can be determined according to the absorbance value by using a microplate reader with 450 nm (630 nm) wavelength.
