The TC10 (RhoQ) Polyclonal Antibody (CAB19786) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the TC10 (RhoQ) protein, a member of the Rho GTPase family involved in regulating various cellular processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the TC10 (RhoQ) protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential reagent for studies in cell biology and signal transduction pathways.TC10 (RhoQ) is known for its role in cell migration, cytoskeletal dynamics, and vesicle trafficking, making it a key player in normal cellular functions as well as disease processes.
Through its interactions with downstream effectors and regulators, TC10 (RhoQ) influences processes such as cell adhesion, actin cytoskeleton organization, and membrane trafficking. Understanding the function and regulation of TC10 (RhoQ) is essential for unraveling its role in cancer metastasis, cardiovascular diseases, and other pathological conditions. This antibody provides a reliable tool for investigating the complex functions of TC10 (RhoQ) and unraveling its molecular mechanisms in health and disease.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 100-205 of human TC10/RHOQ (P17081).
This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, and motility. The encoded protein is an important signalling protein for sarcomere assembly and has been shown to play a significant role in the exocytosis of the solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 4 and other proteins, possibly acting as the signal that turns on the membrane fusion machinery. Three related pseudogene have been identified on chromosomes 2 and 14.
