The SDHC Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21040) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SDHC, a critical protein involved in cellular respiration and energy metabolism. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an excellent choice for various research applications.SDHC, a subunit of the succinate dehydrogenase complex, plays a key role in the electron transport chain and the citric acid cycle, essential processes for ATP production and cell function. Dysregulation of SDHC has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and mitochondrial disorders.
By targeting the SDHC protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a wide range of cell types, enabling researchers to further investigate the role of SDHC in cellular energy metabolism and its implications in disease development. With its reliable performance in techniques such as Western blotting, the SDHC Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for advancing research in biochemistry, cancer biology, and mitochondrial dysfunction.

This gene encodes one of four nuclear-encoded subunits that comprise succinate dehydrogenase, also known as mitochondrial complex II, a key enzyme complex of the tricarboxylic acid cycle and aerobic respiratory chains of mitochondria. The encoded protein is one of two integral membrane proteins that anchor other subunits of the complex, which form the catalytic core, to the inner mitochondrial membrane. There are several related pseudogenes for this gene on different chromosomes. Mutations in this gene have been associated with paragangliomas. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
