Anti-Ki67 Antibody
Ki67 protein is expressed by dividing cells but is rarely found in resting cells which makes it a reliable marker for cell proliferation. The presence of Ki67 can be used to infer how well cancer therapy has worked on cancer cells and the rate of tumor growth. Proliferating cancer cells are sensitive to chemotherapy, while non proliferating cells are generally not affected by such treatments. Ki67 is often used as a marker in assays to test various chemotherapies on tumors that display high proliferation (such as neuroblastomas).
